Ms. Weber's class
Students in Ms. Weber's class will be learning about Sweden. They are performing a version of Santa Lucia on the Xylophones. The song was written in honour of St. Lucia Day in Sweden.
I've included here a beautiful version of the song for the students' listening enjoyment. It also allows them to see some of the more traditional costume.
Costume: Where possible, white clothing. Dresses if possible for the girls. As white pants/skirts are likely to be hard to come by, just the lightest coloured pants they can find and a white shirt. We have some white shirts at the school that can be used if needed.
There will be red sashes made available, as well as silver crowns for the girls and star hats (which is traditional) for the boys.
