The primary classes have been having fun for the past week experimenting with and playing with our new xylophones! We've been learning all about sound and how the length and size of an instrument has to do with the pitch (high/low) of the instrument. The larger the boomwhacker or xylophone bar, the lower the pitch it produces! And the smaller the instrument, the higher the sound! Here's a little clip of our fun in Ms. Bowden's kindergarten class using their new knowledge to help put the xylophone bars in order according to low to high pitch:)
